Rimma Znangirova and Elmira Sabirova, the waiters of the restaurant who distinguished themselves in the competition for the best service of Taiwan tea, were awarded valuable presents.

Dec 13, 2006. Tea at the Tatami

The culture of martial arts and the tea culture are closely connected — they have common origin and similar ideologies. Many Russian fighters are tea aficionados and many tea connoisseurs go into martial arts either professionally or simply for pleasure.

On December 3, in Moscow, in the martial arts pavilion of the CSCA (Central Sports Club of the Army) sports complex the tournament on Sene karate took place. Our company became the tea sponsor of the tournament — we introduced good tea, dainties and different ways of making and serving tea to the participants and guests of the competition. Outside the tatami we quietly drank tea, treated karatekas (who were very much impressed with the process of brewing tea in the siphon) with it, and discussed absolutely different topics with Thadeus Kasianov…

Tea ceremony set.

Dec 04, 2006. Tea Ceremony for Restaurants

For the attention of restaurateurs we offer a modern variant of the Chinese tea ceremony (Gong-fu-cha) which makes it possible to brew high-quality tea according to all ceremonial rules but in a much simpler and more convenient way. For making ceremonial tea in the modern style one needs our special tea master Easy Pot, a tea-pot with hot water on a stand with a candle, tea-bowls, and,of course, good tea — turquoise tea as the best option.

The ceremony itself looks very easy. The tea is brewed in the Easy Pot in the common for this device way but for a shorter period of time. After the first infusion is drunk by the guests, hot water from the pot on the candle is added into the Easy Pot and the tea is infused for a little longer time and then poured into the guests' tea-bowls again.

Nov 27, 2006. Prunes in Taiwanese Coffee: the Sweetest Dainty of the Season

Prunes with a flavor of Taiwanese coffee appeared the most popular dainty of our company. They go especially well with matured teas, and are simply perfect — with matured teas prepared in the tea and coffee siphon. Apparently, this device, used for making both tea and coffee, has some delicate connection with coffee prunes in particular.

However, this is only a hypothesis. The fact is that the flavor of the coffee prune with very distinct note of Mocha blends in with the deep, soft and austere taste of matured teas.

Sergey Khorolsky and Mu-Lien Lin

Nov 21, 2006. New Name For The Taiwan Tea No. 1

During his visit to Taiwan, the Director of JSC «INTEX» Sergey Khorolsky met with the Director of the Tea Research and Extension Station Dr. Mu-Lien Lin. In the course of the talks, Sergey Khorolsky and Mu-Lien Lin agreed that experts of JSC «INTEX», in cooperation with the community of the web-site «TEA», will conduct a tasting of Taiwan Tea No.1 and offer the Station their variants of the name for the tea.

The station spent 18 years breeding and developing Taiwan Tea No. 1, its first varietal. It is a red (black) tea that possesses a fragrance usually associated with oolong teas and has a hint of fruitiness when served over ice. The tea reached the market during a time when Taiwanese red (black) tea was hit hard by international competition, resulting in a slump in the market.

Subsequently, fully fermented red (black) teas were surpassed in popularity by the resurgence of oolong teas in Taiwan, with the result that Taiwan Tea No. 1 never got properly introduced to tea drinkers.

The tea samples will soon arrive in Russia; we will notify the beginning of the tasting further.

Oct 20, 2006. Competition in «China-City»

All September long in the «China-City» restaurant two shifts of waiters vied in the proficiency to serve tea. The criterion for measuring their skill was very simple — the number of the tea-pots served. The cuisine in «China-City» is both European and Oriental, so Taiwan tea, equally popular in both cultures, complements the menu of the restaurant very well. Skillfully combining different teas with main dishes, the waiters served up to thirty tea-pots a day to the visitors of the restaurant. Taiwan teas combined especially well with the specialty duck of «China City». Irina Karlysheva and Svetlana Milova became winners of the competition — with their direct involvement more than two thousand tea-pots were served at the restaurant during the competition month.

Jul 4, 2006. GABA-Tea. A Debut on the Russian Market

Dear tea aficionados, our company would like to bring to your attention another tea novelty — a tea that was fermented without access of oxygen and has an unusual name: GABA-tea. To produce this tea, tea leaves are isolated from the access of oxygen, thus the oxidative processes are almost completely halted, and fermentative processes are essentially changed. As a result, tea leaves accumulate a large amount of Gamma-aminobutyric acid or GABA. The healing properties of Gamma-aminobutyric acid are enhanced by other components of the GABA-tea leaves, which makes this drink a real well of health.

All tea-pots of the «marking collection» are of classical or similar to classical shapes and coloring, and they are perfect for brewing any kind of tea. Particularly good for turquoise and red teas.

May 22, 2006. Tea and Coffee Siphon

Yama Glass Factory (the best glass factory of Taiwan) and JSC «INTEX» (known to the consumers for the teas under the «Turquoise Tea» trade mark) concluded a contract on exclusive rights of JSC «INTEX» to distribute tea and coffee siphons produced by Yama Glass Factory in CIS countries and Baltic states. Siphons, kin to the ones produced by Yama Glass Factory, are well known to coffee lovers — they were invented in the middle of the 19th century and occupy a decent place among coffee-makers. Having conducted a series of experiments on making different sorts of tea in the siphon, the experts of JSC «INTEX» and independent specialists came to the conclusion that this device is perfect for making teas with rich taste: strong black (according to European classification) and matured ones — first of all, the famous pu-erhs.
