Flower Turquoise Tea Jasmine Pouchong (Moli Bao Zhong)

Flavor: Flowery, fresh, with gentle notes of jasmine.

Traditionally, Jasmine flowers are used to flavor green tea — such a blend had long ago become classical and far-famed. Green Jasmine tea, however, has one significant drawback — it is very capricious and can often have a bitter taste. To avoid this disagreeable bitterness, by our special order, in Taiwan, they prepared Pouchong — lightly fermented oolong — flavored with jasmine petals. This tea does not have any bitterness at all. The tea that we offer for your attention blends together all merits of Jasmine tea with the ones of Pouchong — its distinguishable fresh sweet smell and fine tea taste.

Taste and flavor of Jasmine tea make it a perfect freshener after any meal — regardless of the kind of dishes served and their amount. Jasmine tea is good because it is easily recognized as an old friend. And it is doubly good because it does not have any bitter taste. This tea goes well with oriental cuisine.
