Strictly speaking, the flower tea supplied by our company is not tea; because to make this drink, one does not use leaves of a tea tree — but blossoms of one wonderful plant. However, that is the way of the world that all drinks that can be infused are called tea. And we will not diverge from this tradition.

Lotus Blossom Tea (Formosa Lian Hua)

The recipe for this tea is very simple. Boiling water is poured over a bud of lotus flower — the drink is ready. But this simplicity is elegant and enigmatic. The fact is that only special lotus is used to make this tea — its flowers are golden yellow, sometimes with violet hues. This lotus is grown in Taiwan and is willingly purchased by connoisseurs from Japan and Korea. This lotus is appreciated by Buddhist monks very much — it mitigates emotions and calms down, it is very beautiful and healthy. This tea will not harm people with hypertension, but will have wholesome effect on the liver.
