Tea & HoReCa. Originality of Tea
Tea served in HoReCa should differ from most everyday teas. Simple black tea with sugar and lemon is something that your visitor can take at home. Tea bags can be infused at work, in the office. But when the visitor comes to your place, he or she expects some unusual experiences one may not disappoint the visitor.
The originality of tea comprises more than just unusual taste and flavor. Moreover, one must be careful with the unusualness of taste and flavor not to exceed the bounds of traditional views on the taste of tea.
And on the contrary, one can be as much original with tea attributes as is only possible.
First of all, tea requires an interesting story. Just a couple of sentences on the tea menu and a couple of words said by the waiter will be enough to draw the visitors attention to the tea. You can tell the visitor where and how the tea grows, in what amounts and how it is plucked, what peculiarities its taste and flavor have, and so on.
Second, the tea can be served in an original way. Unusual lighting, original tea-ware, unwonted means of brewing all of these will interest your visitor and attract him or her to the tea-drinking.
And third, the snacks served for tea can be original: dried or candied fruit, nuts, fresh fruit, unusual cakes, etc. let your fancy fly.
Nevertheless, good taste and originality are not the only things to take into consideration. Tea must be spectacular. Spectacular insomuch that the visitor should forget everything in under the sun during the tea-drinking. Let us speak about this spectacular tea-drinking in more detail
